Mrs Donna Marie Prather

Life Reflections Donna Marie Dickerson Prather was born on November 14, 1955 in Arlington VA, to the late William Buck Dickerson and the late Evelyn Elizabeth Washington. Donna attended DC public schools and PCI Institute for computers. She worked many of jobs until her work came to end to do an illness. She was later granted full disability. Donna loved the Lord, she was a member of the Image Community Baptist Church in Washington DC, and assisted with the move for Christ Center. Since September 1, 2012 Donna married the love of her life Christopher Prather whom she became one with for 8 loving years. Her and Chris love hanging out going to restaurants, and hand dancing just enjoying their everyday life together. Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, her daughter Angellee, going on long car rides bumping to the music with her granddaughter Terrquella. She would always want to go to Walmart and Rose’s. To Donna family she was the life of the party. Her passion was hosting card game nights at her home, spending time with her nephews Maurice and Donnie playing spades. She never like to lose though. If she lost she would get mad and put you out. Donna would be so hype, talk her trash and couldn’t wait to slap her cards on the table. She was big on family she loved when it was time to meet up with her sisters Rita, Cookie and Lyn and because she always knew they were going go out to eat. Donna had a soft heart when it came to her one and only son Clarence she would get so happy the moment he entered the room. Donna was a style queen she loved getting her hair done and getting dress. Her favorite words were “I’m Dress to Kill”, or if she was on the phone with you and the call was ending she would always say “Holla”, I’M Gone, or I love you Bye. Donna kept a smile on her face, she loved her community and making everyone feel at home. She loved watching her football games. Her teams where the Raiders and the Washington Football team, you couldn’t tell her nothing about her teams. She had the biggest heart and shared her love and energy with everyone she leaves to cherish in her memory her husband Christopher Prather, 2 (daughters) Angelle Spears (Reginald), Shalonda Dickerson (deceased). (Son) Clarence Dickerson, 3 (Granddaughters) Terrquella Buchanan (Edward), Sydney Mack, Chance Dickerson. 5 (Grandsons) Terry Dickerson (deceased), Terrence Dickerson (deceased), Clarence Jones, Terrlontá Buchanan, and Terron Buchanan (Brittany). 5 (Great grandchildren) Maurice Bynum Sr., Marquell Buchanan, Claire Jones, True Lightfoot, Tauryn Buchanan. 6 (Sisters) Debra Dickerson (deceased), Gertrude Newman, Margarita Washington, Linda Onyeabo, Ella Dickerson, Annie Dickerson. 7 (Brothers) Herbert Scott, Kevin Brown (deceased), Nathaniel Washington (deceased), Virail Dickerson, Leroy Bailey, 1 (aunt) Gladys Jaceson (Nathaniel), 1 special friend Betty Buchannan 1 God sister and a host of nieces, nephew’s cousins, and friends
