Expanding and Relocating Washington Chapel
Pope Funeral Homes is celebrating 100 years of service to DMV. In keeping with our efforts to expanding our services to the community, we will be expanding to a new 50,000 sqft. facility in Cheverly/Hyattsville, Maryland. The new facility will be known as Pope Funeral Services PA, Metropolitan Region Chapel. The new location will be a full service facility with offering more than 140 parking spaces, large celebration rooms, and much more. The Washington Chapel on Pennsylvania Avenue will cease to operate as of January 20, 2022 to allow us to prepare for the transition. The new location is expected to be completed in Fall/Winter 2024. In the meantime, our Forestville Chapel will facilitate families with arrangements and services. For additional information, please call us at 202.583.5400.
