Mr. Andre Darnell Crowder

Andre Darnell Crowder was born on May 9, 1981 in Washington, DC and was called to his heavenly home suddenly on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Andre was known as a quiet, kind and loving individual to everyone he met. Andre always had two career loves in his life, computers and cooking. Andre graduated from Crossland Senior High School in Camp Springs, Maryland in 2000 where he discovered his first love of working with computers. He also worked with his Culinary instructor and did catering with his company after finishing high school. Andre went on to do a cooking internship at the Washington, D.C. Homeless Shelter. Andre continued cooking while he worked for Target, Harris Teeter, Sprouts and lastly Lowes Fresh Food Markets. He would go out of his way to assist people in any way he could. He was just a gentle helpful individual. Andre was always a quiet person who first discovered his love for computers by going to the library and borrowing books in which he taught himself HTML and with the help of his computer teacher, he helped design the high School's webpage. Andre also had another love, he loved to cook and bake! Dre would pursue anything that would make him better in the world of cooking, he would go to a restaurant and instead of eating his meal, he would sit and examine the food to find out what the ingredients were so he could make a better version of it at home that he could call his own. Andre love football, although he would pick the underdog teams, he would wear his football jersey of the Minnesota Vikings the most. He loved to bowl, but mostly he just like helping people. Andre was preceded in death by his grandparents: Vancy and Earline Bowers and a loving stepfather, James Edward Brewington, Sr. Andre leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Artie Marie Brewington, one uncle, Eugene Bowers of Maryland, two aunts, Louise Williams and Odessa Carter of Maryland, Terry Powell of Maryland (god-father) numerous cousins (especially Steve Carter who he shared a special bond), his longtime childhood buddy Jamal Lewis, a list of people he considered to be his "special aunts" along with many other friends and relatives.
