MRS SHELLEY RENEE HARVIN-MINOR

Remembering Shelley Shelley Renee Harvin affectionately known as "Renee or Focsie Brown" was born on May 21, 1964 at Columbia Hospital for Women in NW Washington , DC to the later Juanita Harvin and Mortimer Wheeler. Shelley was the second eldest child of Five, she attended DC public schools: Thompson Elementary School, Francis Jr. High , Burdick Vocational and MM Washington Vocational where she earned her GED. Shelley went to further her education in Healthcare. she has multiple degrees in the medical field , she was a hard worker and believed in building a better life for her kids. Shelley was an awesome and loyal mother , daughter , grandmother , granddaughter , sister , aunt , niece , cousin and last but not least friend. she was always doing things with her children, one of the first to take her kids to Disney World back in the 1990s, she was a go getter and never let grass grow under her feet. she was very outgoing and spontaneous, loved to skate, travel, music, dancing and most of all family. she was in a social, motorcycle and skate club. She was very active in her community. She would do coat drives in the winter to donate to the homeless and also feed the homeless every chance she got. She had a passion for fashion, if you didn't know she also traveled down south to sell clothes, jewelry, purses and menswear. One thing about it she was very passionate about anything she did and she made sure to chase and conquer her dreams. Overall Shelley was a child of God and gave her life to the Lord, Jesus Christ. On June 16, 2021 the Lord called Shelley to eternal rest. she leaves to cherish her memories; Four Children: Demetri Harvin (deceased), Reneesha Harvin, Miles Bender. Eugena Bender. Bonus Kids: Ayisha Luke and Kaleema Allicock. Goddaughter Lolitta Little. Godson's Eugene , Tony Marcose , Kenneth , Stephon and and Jamien. Grandchildren: Daequan , Zahriyah , Juan , Zion , Sernai , Daniel , Da'Nel , and Maddison. Siblings; Kenneth Harvin (deceased) William Harvin , Anita Williams (deceased) Asanti Williams , Yolonda Harvin and Johonna Washington. Best Friends: Angel, Michelle, Denise and Kareema (deceased) A host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
