Miguel Adan Balmes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miguel Adan Balmes, who departed this life on April 16, 2025, at the age of 29. Born on August 17, 1995, in Cheverly, MD, Miguel brought joy and kindness to those around him. He lived in Lothian, MD, and was a devoted and hardworking warehouse dispatcher at Capitol Building Supplies, where he made a lasting impact on his colleagues and friends. Miguel will be dearly missed by his beloved spouse, Jennifer Perea, and his supportive father, Adan Balmes, and mother, Francisca Rodriguez. He is also remembered fondly by his sister Ana Balmes and many friends and family who were touched by his warmth and compassion. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the wake at Pope Funeral Home Forestville Chapel on April 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church - 3107 63rd Ave, Cheverly, MD 20785. Mass service to begin at 10:00 am. After mass, Miguel will be laid to rest at Maryland National Memorial Park Cemetery located at 13300 Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD 20707. As we gather to honor Miguel's life, we will celebrate the love he shared and the memories we cherish. Nacido el 17 de agosto de 1995 en Cheverly, Maryland, Miguel trajo alegría y bondad a quienes lo conoció. Vivió en Lothian, Maryland, y fue un devoto y trabajador despachador de almacén en Capitol Building Supplies, donde dejó una huella imborrable en sus colegas y amigos. Miguel será extrañado profundamente por su querida esposa, Jennifer Perea, y por su comprensivo padre, Adán Balmes, y su madre, Francisca Rodríguez.
