In Loving Memory of Lina Jamie Undayag-McDowell Lina Jamie Undayag-McDowell, born on June 3, 1976, at Georgetown University Hospital, embarked on her final journey on October 27, 2023, at Fairfax INova. She was the cherished daughter of Moises Nardo Undayag and Lourdes Bello Undayag. Lina's educational journey was marked by a strong work ethic and a thirst for knowledge. She attended George Washington University for one year and later completed a diploma program at the Computer Learning Center, earning a diploma in Computer Administration. Her early education included St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School in Hyattsville, and she proudly graduated from Central High School in Capital Heights in 1994. While Lina initially pursued a career in IT, her path led her to discover her true passion in Graphic Arts. She excelled in her field, ultimately becoming a proposal manager at AT&T before retiring in 2010. Lina was not only a dedicated professional but also a loving and devoted mother. Her son, Steven Forrest McDowell, was the center of her world, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing him. Beyond her career and family, Lina was deeply committed to making a positive impact on the world. She actively participated in fundraising efforts and tirelessly worked to raise awareness for Pulmonary Hypertension (PHA). Her advocacy touched the lives of many and made a meaningful difference. Lina Jamie Undayag-McDowell is survived by her beloved husband, Steven Franklin McDowell, her adored son, Steven Forrest McDowell, and her dear mother, Lourdes Bello Undayag. She is also survived by her brother, Moses Anthony Undayag, and his wife, Chrissy Undayag, as well as her cherished nieces, Eva and Isabella Undayag, and her nephews, Alex Undayag, Brian, Peter, Ezra, and Elijah McDowell. Lina is further survived by her mother-in-law, Barbara McDowell, her brother-in-law, Brian McDowell, and her sister-in-laws, Chiara McDowell and Elizabeth McDowell, dear friends Sarah Sabas, Agnes Solatan and Kristy Jovel. All of whom held a special place in her heart. Lina's untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were privileged to know and love her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
