Ms. Jacqueline Greene - Jones

Jacqueline Greene-Jones was born on January 20, 1952 in Washington, DC,. She was raised in Northwest Washington with her parents, the late Walter and Elizabeth Greene. She attended DC Public Schools, beginning at Rudolph Elementary School, and was a member of the first graduating class of the newly built Louis Charles Rabaut Junior High School. Following boundary changes, she transferred from Coolidge High School to Theodore Roosevelt High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1970. As a young woman, She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord snd Savior. Jackie began her professional career working with Merrill Lynch and other private firms before joining Howard University. At Howard, she was part of the team that helped establish the Welcome Center and later retired from the University's Auxiliary Enterprise Division. Jackie found delight in dancing and traveling, embracing life with energy and curiosity. She shared meaningful relationships throughout her life, including three marriages. Her greatest joy was her son, Gerald. He blessed her with three grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Jackie especially cherished holidays, finding happiness in celebrating with loved ones and giving thoughtful gifts. She was preceded in death by her parents- Walter and Elizabeth and brothers - Daryl and Michael .
