Mr. Domonique John Scott-Hayes

In loving memory of Domonique "Domo" John Scott-Hayes, who graced this world on January 8, 1997, in Silver Spring, MD, and tragically and unexpectedly departed on January 10, 2024. Domo, the youngest among eight siblings, was our cherished gentle giant with an immense sense of humor. He completed his education at Maurice J. McDonough High School in 2013. He enjoyed playing football throughout his high school years. He was a basketball enthusiast competing on multiple local teams, playing with his sister at "the court" and showing up for his cousin Lo's games every chance he got. Domonique also explored the world by studying abroad in Abu Dhabi, embracing and experiencing different cultures alongside his devoted mother, Monique. Following in his father's footsteps, Domonique honed his skills in auto body repair, eventually establishing his own business, Domo's Customs; a testament to his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. A music enthusiast, he not only enjoyed listening to music but also crafted his own melodies. Domonique had secured admission to Fullsail University in Winter Park, Florida, slated to commence his journey studying Music Production in June 2024. Although his departure has created an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family and friends, the memories he leaves behind are cherished treasures and his legacy will endure through the lives he touched. Domonique was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Shirley and Milton Porter as well as his grandparents Raye Cleo Scott, John and Flora Hayes. He is survived by his grieving parents; Monique (Michael) Scott-Hurd, and Paul (Bonita) Hayes; his siblings, Paul Hayes Jr., Paula Hayes, Ryan Goforth, JaPaul Harper, Michael Coffman, Terrell Carter, and Monique Scott-Hayes; and his grandfather; Warwick Lee Scott. Domonique also leaves to cherish his memory aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
