Mr. Dexter Lincoln Sr.

On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, Dexter received his wings and went home to be the Lord. Dexter was born in Dorchester, South Carolina, to Lewis and the late Lula Mae Dessaso Lincoln on June 5, 1962. Dexter dedicated his life to Christ at an early age at Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was educated in Saint George Public Schools and attended Dorchester Vocational Schools welding apprentice program. He relocated to Washington, DC in 1985. Dexter joined the Evangel Cathedral Church and frequently visited Eternity Baptist Church in Landover, Maryland. He was a great provider he worked for National Archives over 27 years, he also worked for Howard County Public Schools Systems for many years. Dexter had four children from a previous marriage Reginald (deceased), Carolyn, Ebony, and Dexter Jr. He met his soul mate and true love Charleen Scott in 1994 they later married and were blessed with, Jeffery, Asia. Dexter lived his life to the fullest, he loved go-go music (especially Chuck Brown), he loved entertaining his family and friends, while cranking the go-go music and busting ear drums at his house parties, it gave him complete joy as he turned into the family mixologist. He never met a stranger and his infectious smile affected everyone he came in contact with. He loved a good game of spades and most of all, he was a true die -hard Redskins fan. Dexter leaves to cherish his memory, his Wife: Charleen Scott Lincoln, six Children: Reginald (deceased)Lincoln, Carolyn (Julius) Robinson-Adams, Ebony Lincoln, Dexter Lincoln Jr, Jeffery Lincoln, and Asia Lincoln, Grandchildren: Tyrells, Jordyn, Aiden, Ronald, Yuniq, his Parents: Lewis Lincoln (Mother Lula-deceased). Ten Sisters: Yvonne Lincoln (deceased); Brenda Kay Lincoln Morrow (deceased), Carolyn (Jimmy) Lincoln Duggins), Delane (Bobby) Lincoln Williams, Tereather Lincoln, Flora Mae (John) Lincoln Howard, Alma (Joe) Lewis-Wright, Eartha Mae Kitt, Delores Williams and Dorothy Deas. Five Brothers: Robert Lee (Shirley) Lincoln, James (deceased) Lincoln (Denise), Roosevelt Lincoln, Donald Lincoln, and Donald Gaines. In Laws, Harold (Beverly) Weiss, Michael (Lisa)Scott, Ingrid (Lannis) Currie Michal (John) Diggs, Bridget (Kevin-deceased) Underwood, Holly (Theodore) Bailey, James, Tyrone and Angela Scott, Bobby VanField Jr, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins.
