THE JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE Beloved Mother, Granny, Great-Granny, Sister, Aunt, and Friend Cora Cecilia Campbell 1936-2022 Cora C. Campbell departed this life on May 3, 2022 at Heritage Harbor Rehabilitation Center in Annapolis, MD. Born December 30, 1936 to Clarence and Mabel Campbell in Washington, DC, she was a devout Catholic until her last breath. After graduating High School, Cora worked as a LPN at Junior Village. From there, she worked at National Capital Bank in SE DC, working her way up becoming a Loan Officer until she retired at the age of 65. For several years after her retirement, she did what she loved best, spending time with and caring for her great-grans! The sixth of thirteen children, Cora dedicated her life to God, her family, and Holy Comforter St. Cyprian. She served as a Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the church counter for Sunday collections for many, many years. She was the "Ticketmaster Queen", having a true gift for selling out tickets for events and fundraisers at Holy Comforter over the years. Cora leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Michelle C. King; granddaughters, Nicole C. Reams, Lauren M. Williams, Rasheeda King; brother, James Campbell; sisters, Doris Culver, Margaret Jameson, Agnes Phillips; and a host of great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.
